Alpine strawberries are larger than wild strawberries, though still have the natural characteristic and nutrition of the original natural strawberries, and remain unaltered by hybridization! Fruit are extremely sweet, are produced early in the season, and are continually produced for many weeks. Plants are easy to grow, and are very tolerant of drought and poor soils. Ideally plants can be placed in a sunny location, though these are probably the most -tolerant of strawberries, and will produce fruit in a partly d location. Strawberries make excellent potted plants, and are also one of the few fruits that can be grown as houseplants! Plant at any time of year, and place in a sunny window.

To grow Alpine Strawberries, plant them at any time of the year in a sunny window. They’re easy to care for and can tolerate drought and poor soils. Just keep them in a sunny spot if possible, but they can also do well in a partly shaded area. They’ll give you sweet fruit early in the season and keep producing for weeks. As potted or houseplants, they’re a great choice. Just make sure to water them regularly, especially during dry spells.
