This is an original 1855 black and white in-text wood engraving of pedestrians wandering around the Bosquet de la Renommée, a little grove in the gardens of Versailles which featured a statue of Fame. However, with all the remodeling done to the gardens over the years, the statue can no longer be found at this location.
