Richard Schultz designed the 1966 Collection at the request of Florence Knoll who, after retiring, wanted outdoor furniture that could withstand the corrosive Florida ocean air. The 1966 Lounge Chair has been gracing the outdoor spaces of modern homes ever since.

Construction and Details:
• Seat and back are woven vinyl coated polyester mesh
• Straps are solid pure vinyl with no fillers and sewn onto the mesh seat and back with teflon thread
• Frame is welded cast and extruded aluminum finished in weather resistant polyester powder coat
• Stainless steel supports and connectors
• Glides included

To use the 1966 Lounge Chair, simply place it in your desired outdoor space like your patio or garden. Enjoy the comfort it offers while relaxing outdoors. For maintenance, keep it away from extreme weather conditions as much as possible. If it gets dirty, gently wipe the seat and back with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the polyester mesh or the powder – coated finish. The stainless steel parts are durable but can still get a bit rusty over time in very humid areas, so try to keep them dry. And remember, this chair ships in 6 – 8 weeks.
